IMAGeSPIN is an innovative multi-instrumental experimental platform funding mainly by a SESAME project from Region Ile de France (n°EX039175) dedicated to the advanced characterization of compounds, heterostructures or devices in spintronics and nanomagnetism.
The IMAGeSPIN platform’s primary objective is to share this state-of-the-art spectroscopy and magnetic imaging equipment not only among the project’s various partners but also to open it up to the Paris Region laboratories of the communities concerned. In practice, each of the project partner laboratories will be in charge of the development, installation and maintenance of one of the four advanced characterization techniques: BLS-k at the LPS, µ-BLS at the C2N, M-NV at the UMPhy and M-SHG at the SPEC.
